Day Program
The Day Program begins each day with a peer group meeting. Each member is given the opportunity to talk about the previous night’s activities, their plans for the day, concerns, ideas, complaints, etc.
After the meeting, members have a wide range of activities to choose from such as working on the computer, ASL vocabulary, writing, math, reading, exercising, etc.

Corliss also has weekly planned events such as bowling, YMCA, trips to the local Audubon Society, Zoo, etc. Some members have daily jobs at Corliss while others have jobs that are off site and supported by a job coach.
Members are assisted by staff to attend medical appointments, Housing appointments, Social Security, Food Stamps to name a few. Members deliver Meals on Wheels once a week. To provide further consistency and stability to their day, the program ends the way it began with a peer group meeting.
